The spike aerator is completely mechanical and it cuts and penetrates the ground surface using the wedge shaped spikes. The cut slots enable air, fertilizer, and water to effectively reach the lawn roots in sandy or loamy soils. The open slots quickly close after the water causes the compacted soil to expand.
Spike penetration depth is easily controlled using the two guide wheels, providing consistent results.
The spike aerator is also equipped with mechanical support legs which lift the blades off the ground for storage.
It is the ideal attachment for gardens and sports fields maintenance where MultiOne machines, thanks to their traction system, don’t damage the turf.
