C3 - AC Motor Controller:
Although primarily intended for pallet truck-type applications(Class 3), the C3 AC motor controller is equally suitable for small ride-on machines. Two versions are available, 200Arms and 250Arms, thereby allowing the most cost-effective solution for an application.

Flexible yet straightforward programming means the C3 AC motor controllers are compatible with all types of AC induction motors. At the same time, a dedicated thermistor input allows motor temperature to be measured and the power to the motor to be reduced if it is becoming too warm.


SIMPLE MOTOR MATCHING:
For ease of installation and efficient performance, C3 AC motor controllers can be ‘matched’ to any AC induction motor using an auto-commissioning sequence.

This simple 3-step process is launched via the C3 PC Programmer. No specialist measuring equipment is required, just the basic motor ‘nameplate’ data.
Once commissioning has been completed on the first vehicle, the C3 programming file can be saved, copied, and then written to other vehicles equipped with the same motor type, significantly reducing set-up time.
 
HILL-HOLD FUNCTION:
To ensure maximum efficiency, the C3 employs an intelligent Hill-Hold function that only takes power from the battery if the vehicle starts to roll. As soon as it is detected that Hill-Hold is not required, then no further power will be consumed. Traditionally, the application of a brake switch has been needed to provide this function.
 
C3 - 36V:
The C3-36V is a compact and cost-effective AC motor controller for small Industrial vehicles.

Flexible, yet simple programming means the controller is compatible with all types of AC induction motor, while a dedicated thermistor input allows motor temperature and the power to the motor to be reduced if it is becoming too warm.

The innovative construction methods employed by the 36V motor controller ensure reliable and repeatable assembly of the electronic enclosure, which results in consistent protection of the electronic circuits from the environment and efficient transfer of heat to the baseplate. The design is compliant with all relevant international floorcare vehicle standards, e.g. EN60335-2-72 and uses UL approved materials throughout, taking into account the critical dimensions defined in UL583.

The C3pump AC/DC motor controller, which offers a combination motor controller, AC traction and DC pump controller drives, is an extension of PGDT’s high-performing, compact and cost-effective C3 family, but with all the specialist features needed for efficient and precise control of modern day stacker trucks.

The C3pump controller, which offers a combination of AC traction and DC pump drives, is an extension of CurtissWright’s high-performing, compact and cost-effective C3 family, but with all the specialist features needed for efficient and precise control of modern day stacker trucks. Flexible, yet simple programming means the controller is compatible with all types of AC induction and DC series motors, while a dedicated thermistor input allows traction motor temperature and the power to the motor to be reduced if it is becoming too warm.

The C3pump features up to eight dedicated digital inputs that can be individually switched to 0V, open-circuit, B+ or a combination of these options to provide the active state. The controller also accepts multiple throttle types, including 2- or 3-wire resistive and voltage. CAN tiller compatibly is provided as standard, offering vehicle OEMs maximum input flexibility.
