VCU120

The Trilo VCU 120 verticutter is the solution to your thatch problem on golf courses, sport fields and green areas. Whether you maintain warm season or cool season grass, thatch control is important.

Features

• removes thatch
• allows increased aeration
• more effective utilization of fertilizer
• better water penetration
• promotes lateral growth
• makes grass greener in spring
• mechanical grass maintenance reduces the requirement to use chemicals

The natural growth of grass is slowed when a thatch layer of leaves, old grass clippings, dead roots and moss builds up. It leads to reduced resistance to disease, which compromises growth.

The machine is entirely mechanically driven so there are no hydraulic hoses and therefore no risk of hydraulic leaks. The machine has a working width of 1.2 metres and is built from one rigid frame. The offset design enables the machine to scarify beyond the passage of the tractor tyre right up to the grass edge. The machine can easily handle thatch build up down to 50 mm. The machine is equipped as standard with blades with a tungsten tip from 2 mm thick blades, each with 10 teeth and a blade spacing from 50 mm ( optional 25 mm). The working depth is adjusted by a stepless adjuster on the left and right hand side for accurate depth control of the blades.
