The 6 tine sections at the Gt 210 are mounted on a driven cam shaft. When this shaft is driven by the (hydraulic) motor, the rolling spikes start to vibrate. This vibration hammers the spike in the soil, cracks the soil and leaves a nice hole.  The maximum working depth is 35 mm (1-1/2”).
